It was a hot summer’s afternoon, and the heat was literally in the air. Marie stood at the edge of the pool, gazing at the sparkling blue water. Instead of going to the trouble of getting changed first, she spontaneously decided to take a dip just as she was.

She was wearing her sports outfit: a pair of comfortable, dark leggings, a matching sports top and her black trainers. Particularly striking were her bright white Adidas socks, which she had pulled up neatly.

With a faint smile, she descended the first few steps into the pool. The white Nike socks become particularly heavy, immediately soaking up all the water on the wet tiled floor. Marie simply stands there for a moment, enjoying the unfamiliar, heavy sensation of her completely soaked clothes against her skin as the water runs down her body.
